You’re not aware of any of these attempts, nor the legislation proposed by McCain in 2005 (which is all over the internet) along with the warnings because your media doesn’t want you to know about it. While you’re at it, you can check YouTube where your democratic geniuses told investigators in 2004 “there was no problem” with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. No problem for them, they were getting 10’s of millions in bonuses.
